Worried About Today and Tomorrow?

“You drove 30 minutes away to get food? You couldn’t find eggs? I have plenty; I can share. Do you have toilet paper, enough cleaning supplies, enough food; are you stocked up?”

My daughter and I have never talked about trouble finding eggs and sharing what we have with each other. We’ve never asked each other if she had toilet paper, cleaning supplies, and food. But that was our conversation this afternoon.

Last week’s trips to the grocery store were shocking. This is not the cleanser or toilet paper aisle, this is the pasta, canned food, and staples aisle.

Pandemic. Lockdown mode. Scarcity. Uncertainty. Loss of finances. Loss of health. Loss of life.
