True Freedom

Freedom. America was founded to give freedom. Freedom to worship. Freedom to follow dreams. Freedom to life. Freedom to pursue happiness. Freedom.

Today, we celebrate America’s 244th Independence Day.

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

Liberty given by our Creator. Bold liberty claimed by our forefathers because they depended upon God Almighty.

“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”
2 Corinthians 3:17

“Because of the great work of the Holy Spirit in us through the new covenant, we have a bold, liberated relationship with God.” David Guzik

May America return to true freedom that is her endowment from her Creator. A bold freedom, a deep relationship with God.

My prayer

Our Creator, our Liberator, our Almighty God, thank You for America’s freedom. We have turned from You and have sinned. Cause America to return to You. Bring an awakening to those who do not know You and revival to those who believe in You. Cause Your people to humble themselves, pray, and seek Your face. Show us our wicked ways and cause us to turn from them. O Lord, hear from heaven, and forgive our sin. Father, heal our great land. God, bless America! In Jesus’ holy name, we pray. Amen.

Father, You are love, and You have given us so many gifts, but the greatest of these is Your love. Your love is patient and kind. May we reflect Your patience and kindness. Thank You that Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory. Forever. In Jesus' name, amen. Are you anxious? Troubled? Fearful? Want peace even in the midst of the storms in your life? Call out to God. He is near, and He loves you. “And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are.” (Matthew 6:28-29) Our spiritual worship starts with surrender to God. If God is for you, who can be against you? Who will charge you? Who condemns you? Who will separate you from Christ's love? God loved you so much that He sent His Son, Jesus, into the world to pay the price for your sins, so that you could live forever basking in His love. “O LORD, You are the portion of my inheritance and my cup; May you bask in God's blessings and rest in His peace.
