“For thus said the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel,
‘In returning [repenting] and rest you shall be saved;
in quietness and in trust shall be your strength.’
But you were unwilling,”
Isaiah 30:15

The Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel is telling His people to repent, to turn from our wicked ways. In repentance and rest, we will be saved, delivered. In quietness and trust, we are strong.

So far, America has been unwilling.

Are you willing?

And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, yet your Teacher will not hide himself anymore, but your eyes shall see your Teacher.
“And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, ‘This is the way, walk in it,’ when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.”
Isaiah 30:20-21

The Lord disciplines those He loves; yet, He is our Teacher who will not hide Himself forever. We shall see and hear our Teacher.

We will hear Him guide us in our walk when we begin to turn from our path.

Are you willing to turn?

Are you willing to rest in His salvation?

Are you willing to be strong in quietness and trust?

Are you willing to be taught?

Are you willing to take the right hand of God Almighty as He guides you?

My prayer

Almighty God and Holy Teacher, do not hide Yourself from Your people. Cause Your people to repent, rest, and trust in Your salvation. Revive us, Lord. Empower us to hear You and learn from You. Take us by the hand and lead us in the path You have set before us. We are willing, Lord. Help our unwillingness. God bless America! God bless Your people throughout the world. Let Your glory shine throughout the world and bring those who are lost to You, for You are a gracious and loving God. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  1. Amen. This is one of many Scriptures teaching that God brings the adversity, and it’s for our sanctification / the salvation of our soul. Bless you and your family, sister!

    1. Deanna, Grace and peace to you from God, our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. Be blessed and well. Karen
