A few months after we married, Keith saw a product on television that was supposed to prevent fog on the mirror. I didn’t believe that it would work and told him so, but he ordered it anyway. I probably made fun of him when he insisted that it was going to work.

He was so excited when it arrived. The next morning, he sprayed the stuff on the mirror and took a shower. The shower was maybe three steps away from the mirror above the sink. He was so disappointed that morning. The fog-buster didn’t work!

I made it worse when I laughed.

Fooled! He can laugh about it today.

Christians can be fooled, especially in this feel-good, selfie world we live in today.

Three Keys to Rebuilding From Brokenness

Working in concert with each other, we glorify God. Next to and after each other. We’re taking the fallen stones and rubble of today’s church and each other’s lives, and we’re rebuilding … hand in hand much like Nehemiah led the Jews in rebuilding the wall and gates of Jerusalem. It took teamwork, prayer, and God’s protection. Unity of all.
