Frustrated because you can’t seem to be the kind of person that you want to be?
Although you get up in the morning and you tell yourself that you will be kind, not offend, and have a great outlook, you slip up before you get out the door.
You think no one cares.
There is someone who cares deeply. In fact, He loves you. Jesus loves you.
All of us have sinned, fallen short of God’s requirements. That’s you and me. We’re all failures.

When you get home, you cook dinner, help the kids with homework, bathe them, put them to bed, snuggle with your husband, put him to bed, then you settle in to get the work done for the next day at the office.
The “To Do” list is 10 sheets long and growing.Continue reading The Secret of Rest

Sometimes, they had to wait a long time for those promises to become reality, and sometimes, they never saw those promises in their lifetimes. But they believed, and they were blessed.
The promise that Gabriel revealed to Mary was unthinkable. Mary, an unmarried teenager, a virgin, engaged to a poor carpenter, learned that her womb would carry the Messiah, the Savior of Israel, the Savior of the world.
How can this be?Continue reading The Key to Being Blessed
