A Prayer for Strength

“I pray that from His glorious, unlimited resources He will empower you with inner strength through His Spirit.”

Ephesians 3:16 (NLT)

In the upheaval of today, we all need a prayer for strength. My prayer for you is that you will be strengthened through the Holy Spirit. May you behold God’s glory as He pours out His blessings upon you.

God is able to accomplish much more than we can ask or think!

Father, I pray that Your people will trust in You and understand how wide, how long, how high, and how deep Your love is for them. Cause us all to rejoice in the love of Christ and to walk in the fullness of life and power that only comes from You. In Jesus’ name, we pray, amen.

Karen, yesterday morning, I wasn’t going to go to the Women’s Ministry Bible study at my church because I felt exhausted. I was glad I went because my favorite teacher spoke on 1 John and the tie between our obedience and loving well. As I was leaving, I discovered a beautiful young women in a wheelchair was in need of a caregiver as her mother told me the person had just stopped coming and wasn’t responding to calls. Her daughter was heartbroken because she thought she had found a friend. Anyway, I can see this is a longer story than a comment so maybe I will write about it on my blog, but as it ended up, I felt God called me to be that caregiver and agreed. I woke in the night anxious about the time commitment but as I prayed and said Jesus name out loud, I slept like a baby (which is a good thing because, ironically, I have the one to one caregiving training class I’ve been taking at church all morning.) Then I discovered your prayer and begin this day with a beautiful blessing! Thank you for your beautiful post.❤️❤️❤️

Deborah, I am so blessed that God ministered to you and that you are stepping out on God’s prompting to serve the woman He designed for you to minister to. May the Lord richly bless your relationship with her.

Father, shine Your light through Deborah and onto the woman she will be caring for. Bless them both with more of You. In Jesus’ name, amen. 🙏💕
