For You formed my inward parts;
You knitted me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Wonderful are Your works;
my soul knows it very well.
My frame was not hidden from You,
when I was being made in secret,
intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed substance;
in Your book were written, every one of them,
the days that were formed for me,
when as yet there was none of them.
How precious to me are Your thoughts, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!
If I would count them, they are more than the sand.
I awake, and I am still with You. Psalm 139:13-18 (ESV)
Fearfully and wonderfully made in my mother’s womb.

Lord, God Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, You knew me before I was in my mother’s womb, and You knitted me together in my mother’s womb. You had my days numbered before I was born, and Your plans for me were good, with a future and a hope. Thank You, that my mother and father preserved my life even before I was born. I pray for all the unborn babies. You have loved them exceedingly and have great plans for them. Your thoughts towards them are more numerous than the sands. Preserve their lives, Lord. Put a hedge of protection around them, and bless their mothers and fathers. Pour out Your lovingkindness and provision upon their homes and fuse their hearts with Your heart. In Jesus’ name, amen.
