Letting go for transforming power

Letting Go of Your Limitations: Experiencing God's Transforming Power

Traditions, religion, legalism, and Satan have the potential to limit the transforming power of God. Dr. Sandie Freed urges her readers to let go of their limitations and rest in the grace of God. In other words, complete surrender.

She writes:

“Religion needs to die. Let’s not look any longer for rules we must try our best to keep. Rather, let us seek relationship. Our relationship with God is not fear-based; it is all faith-based–and without faith it is impossible to please Him. God has an abundant life planned for you!”

Freed has a conversation with the reader as she reminds the reader what she told the reader in the previous chapter and tells of future topics. I found myself skipping over the repetition and conversation-like sentences

Frequently, the author mentions a subject, writes a few sentences, and gives the title of her book where the reader can learn more.

Freed asks the reader to reflect upon her thoughts, her limitations, or her relationship with God and then write through the subject or write a prayer to God.

I can see this book being used as a women’s small group study. It is Scripturally based.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Chosen, a division of Baker Publishing Group, in exchange for my honest review.

My prayer for you:

Father in heaven, thank You for Dr. Freed and her passion to honor You and spread Your love for Your children. Thank You for Your transforming power. May the readers of Letting Go of Your Limitations truly let go and let You work in their lives to truly create an abundant life, a sozo life.
