As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 1 Peter 4:10

Gifts come in packages, but the cherished gifts come in surprises, words, songs, friends, strangers, and God. This week, we received a cherished gift. California Baptist University students and Fellowship Church used their gifts to bless.

Sixteen students blessed a couple as well as the neighborhood by pointing a couple and their neighborhood to the goodness of God and the hope of heaven, these young people used their gifts of beautiful voices and making music to sing of God’s manifold grace. They exemplified 1 Peter 4:10.

Although I don’t have the gift of video, I believe that you will be blessed by the amateur video I shot.

Father in heaven, bless the students who took the time to prepare for and give the very special concert that they provided to the couple and the neighborhood. They prayerfully pointed us all to hope in You. Bless them and keep them in Your love and Your protection, Lord. May they continue to glorify You. Lord, pour out Your peace and joy upon the couple and all who rejoiced in Your saving grace and goodness that night. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
