Lift your heart towards Jesus for warmth, nourishment, healing

Palm TreesMost plants and trees lift their faces towards heaven. They breathe in the warmth and nourishment of the sun.

The Trees of Life and Knowledge of Good and Evil open the Word of God … separation from God follows.

The Tree of Life closes the Word of God … nourishment and healing unite God and man.

Then he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb, in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. There will no longer be any curse; and the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His bond-servants will serve Him; Revelation 22:1-3

Lovingkindness nourishes and heals the uplifted heart!

My prayer for you:

Lord, this is such a busy season. Prompt us to lift our faces towards Jesus and breathe in the warmth, nourishment, and healing of Your dear Son. Thank you for the gift of Jesus to a blind world. Open our eyes that we may see and understand the amazing love that You have for us that You would give Your Son to the world knowing that the world would beat Him and crucify Him. Yet, that was Your plan, so that we could be reconciled to You. Thank You, that those who are Yours are one with Jesus. Lord, Christmas is such an awesome time to remember why Jesus became a man. We love you, Father.

Cindy, I am so glad that you are making progress. 2013 was certainly not your year. Father, thank You for Cindy and her great love for You. Touch her arm and shoulder with Your healing touch. Pour out Your blessings upon her to overflowing. Manifest Your plans in her life. Guide her in all her ways, and give her a wisdom that only comes from You. Thank you for the celebration of Christmas. May the meaning of this special season enfold us all. Amen

Cindy, I’m praying for you. Karen

Oh sweet girl! I am just now able to really comment back to people after Breaking my arm and tearing my rotator cuff in a fall in Nov! This has not been my year! I hope to have my shoulder fixed right after Christmas that will put me behind the eight ball for a little bit and then I have to start on a hunt for someone who can really help me w/my back.
What wonderful reminders you are giving to people about WHY we celebrate Christmas! I have loved your last two posts!
