Get to Know Karen

God miraculously healed me from fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome on November 21, 2010. My healing journey began when the Holy Spirit guided me through Scripture and gently taught me that I had placed limits upon God. The Holy Spirit impressed upon Keith, my husband, and me that God would heal me. That was two years before the Lord healed me.

Blue Letter Bible learned of God’s healing and created a short video of God’s healing and how I have used Blue Letter Bible’s free resources to share about Jesus on this blog, in my neighborhood, and in my church.

I’ve learned that God has promises for us, and He has equipped us to possess those promises, and we must trust Him as we step out to take possession, like Joshua and the Israelites did when they marched around Jericho for seven days.

I live to point people to Jesus.

My mission: To listen deeply, pray intensely, love passionately, and bless widely.

Grace and peace to you from our Father and the Lord, Jesus Christ. May He richly bless you and keep you in His great and precious love and promises.

      Dawn, Yes, there is peace in trusting Jesus. Trust enables us to step out when we don’t know the outcome. Trust empowers us to leave the outcome to Jesus. After all, He is in control, and He loves us so much that He died for us. What love He has for us!     Hello! I praise God for your testimony here of receiving His healing, and from fibromyalgia at that! I am a physician whom the Lord uses to encourage mature Christians to know and believe His word on healing.     Karen, may I use your wonderful words of encouragement in my post tonight? I thought of just keeping how I feel to myself, but I don’t think it is very honest of me to only write when I am “up” but to let people see that you can not live on the mountain top all the time-and when you are in the valley-there are answers and comfort for you–from the Lord Himself, but also from encouragers like you, friends, your pastor. There is no reason to live constantly in the valley in the mirey clay…too many wonderfful scriptures to read and claim.

      Darrin, Thank you for your gracious words. Indeed, we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. The Lord holds out His promises to us, but we must take them and possess them. Sometimes, that involves challenges and even battles. But the battle is the Lord’s, and He is always victorious! To God be the glory!
